LBO/MBO/OBO - 2023

THE GROUP AUREXIA OPENS ITS CAPITAL TO UI INVESTISSEMENT AND BPIFRANCE

The Group Aurexia is a consulting firm specializing in the transformation of financial services, with more than 130 experts working in 7 offices in France and abroad. Founded in 2006 by Dominique Herrou and Eric Vernhes, joined in 2009 by David Villard, Aurexia supports leading players in a number of business areas (retail banking and specialized financial services, insurance, CIB, asset & wealth management), as well as cross-functional areas (finance, risk and compliance, digital and customer experience, data management, operational excellence, ESG).

The Group has developed through organic growth, in France and internationally, to reach €18 million in sales by 2022. Between 2014 and 2023, the London, Luxembourg, Singapore, Hong Kong and Montreal offices were successively opened to support the deployment of major international projects. In France, an office was opened in Nantes in 2020 to cover the Grand Ouest region.

After a fiscal year 2022 marked by sales growth of almost 25%, the entry of UI Investissement and bpifrance into the Group's capital will enable it to strengthen its equity capital in order to launch an external growth plan aimed at doubling in size over the coming years.

Dominique Herrou, Eric Vernhes and David Villard, directors of Aurexia:

“Aurexia is entering an important stage in its development by welcoming UI Investissement and bpifrance to its capital. Their respective experience in supporting growth companies will be invaluable in helping us achieve our ambitions and accelerate our “Scale UP” strategic plan. This operation is also an opportunity to involve more Partners and Directors in the firm’s capital”.

Eric Vernhes, Managing Director:

“This was an intense project which marks an important stage in the development of the Aurexia Group. We would particularly like to thank Tanguy Mantelin, Florian Leginy and their team for their support in our deal launched in September. Largillière Finance’s proposal for structuring the deal took full account of the company’s specific features and our strategy. Their knowledge of the consulting sector was also an undeniable asset in the success of the project”.

Tanguy Mantelin, Partner and Co-Founder of Largillière Finance:

“We are delighted to have accompanied the management of Aurexia. This transaction clearly illustrates our expertise in LBOs for companies with strong growth perspectives. It also reflects Largillière Finance’s strong expertise in two sectors: Financial Services and Consulting”.

With more than 40 employees, a strong international presence and nearly 30 operations in 2023, Largillière Finance confirms its leader position in small and midcap in France.
