Fundraising of Quadrature Restauration from Aurae and CITA
Advised by Largillière Finance, Quadrature Restauration scales up: Aurae and CITA invest in the company, with a new central kitchen set to open in Les Mureaux in summer 2027
Quadrature Restauration, an independent player in the collective catering sector in the Île-de-France region, has completed a strategic reorganisation of its share capital, advised by Largillière Finance. The transaction is marked by the investment of Aurae, the impact fund of the Vausselin family – founder of Aroma-Zone – alongside CITA, an investor in Quadrature Restauration since 2015, which has renewed its confidence in the company. Combined with bank financing, this transaction provides the company with the resources to achieve its ambition: becoming the leading committed player in responsible collective catering in the Île-de-France region.
Founded in 2014 and led by Antoine Massenet, Quadrature Restauration has established itself over the past decade as one of the leading providers of outsourced school catering services to local authorities across the Île-de-France region. The company is built on a demanding model based on concrete and measurable commitments: meals prepared in its own kitchens, predominantly using raw ingredients; 75% of products sourced from French raw materials; more than 30% of products from organic farming; more than 55% of products purchased through short supply chains; and an in-house vegetable preparation unit within its central kitchens, ensuring the use of raw ingredients. This commitment to quality is complemented by a direct relationship with each client.
The transaction provides Quadrature Restauration with the resources to pursue an ambitious development plan, the cornerstone of which is the construction of a third central kitchen in Les Mureaux (Yvelines). Scheduled to open in summer 2027, the new facility will provide 2,300 m² of production space and a capacity of more than 25,000 meals per day, bringing the company’s total production capacity to nearly 60,000 meals per day. This will also enable Quadrature Restauration to meet growing demand from local authorities across the Île-de-France region, while further raising its standards in terms of quality and environmental performance. In the long term, the Les Mureaux site will employ around sixty people.
