LBO of Plasseraud IP with Andera Acto

Plasseraud IP accelerates its European expansion with the support of Andera Acto

Plasseraud IP, the French market leader and a leading international intellectual property firm, is entering a new phase of development with the support of Andera Acto, a specialist in sponsorless investments.
Advised by Largillière Finance, this mezzanine financing, combined with a senior financing facility, provides the Group with the financial resources required to accelerate its growth while enabling it to preserve its independence and remain exclusively managed by intellectual property professionals.

Founded in 1906, Plasseraud IP supports clients across all industries—from start-ups to large international corporations—in the protection, enhancement and enforcement of their intellectual property assets. The Group operates through 15 offices across Europe and in Shanghai, and employs 400 professionals, including qualified representatives, patent and trademark attorneys, legal experts and patent engineers. Since January 2025, Plasseraud IP has undertaken significant investments, particularly in artificial intelligence technologies, to further enhance the quality of its services.

Andera Acto is supporting this new strategic phase for Plasseraud IP, which is built around six key priorities: service excellence, sustainable performance, international expansion, knowledge transfer, an organization designed to support growth, and the collective commitment of its teams. The financial partners are also providing the Group with additional financing capacity to support and further pursue its buy-and-build strategy.

Sustainability-related objectives will be supported by Andera Acto, the financing strategy of Andera Partners, one of Europe’s leading private equity firms with nearly €5.1 billion in assets under management. Andera Partners will support Plasseraud IP in the implementation of its environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments.
