Acquisition - 2017
JYF Participations acquires the French leader in light wood packaging for the food industry
NBE, based in Sénas (13) and Cavaillon (84), is the French leader in light wood packaging (crates, wooden baskets …) for the agri-food industry and more specifically fruits and market gardening activities.
After experiencing a difficult period linked to cyclical and structural events, the company was taken over by two professionals. Francis and John Nouvier quickly identified the company redeployment potential.
The objective of the buyers is to give NBE a new lease of life, based on profitable growth. This growth will notably be achieved through targeted acquisitions enabling the group to rapidly grow from around € 20 million to € 50 million turnover.
About JYF Participations

Francis and John are two professionals with extensive complementary experience from an industrial, managerial and financial point of view. They have extensive experience in different sectors of activity such as agribusiness, retail, luxury or retail.

John Nouvier, General Director of NBE, entrusts us : « We are particularly proud to have achieved the acquisition of NBE with Largillière Finance. We want to position ourselves as an agglomerator of a light wood packaging market still very fragmented today. The potential development of NBE is such that we plan to make this company the main player in light wood packaging across the entire range of existing products (cheese, dairy, horticulture, seafood …). Nicolas, partner of Largillière Finance, has used the right levers and the good relays to promote the smooth running of business. On a personal note, I found in Nicolas a good listener and a remarkable availability. »
Nicolas Ibanez, Partner of Largillière Finance: « We are pleased to have accompanied Messieurs Nouvier in this acquisition. This operation will enable Francis and John Nouvier to realize a family project by implementing their skills acquired over several years in major food groups, investment banks and investment funds. The cedants, the Pujante family, have retained the good buyers to continue the work done for more than 50 years and accelerate its development.»
With more than 40 employees, a strong international presence and nearly 30 operations in 2023, Largillière Finance confirms its leader position in small and midcap in France.
