Hydeclim is sold to Sonepar

Largillière Finance advised Hydeclim, an expert distributor of HVAC solutions in north-western France, on its acquisition by the French family-owned group Sonepar, the world’s number 1 distributor of electrical equipment.

Hydeclim is a distributor specializing in HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) solutions for professionals, with 4 branches spread between Nantes, its head office, Lille, Tours and Caen. The 50-strong company posted sales of nearly €21.5 million in 2021.

Since its creation in 1969, the family-owned Sonepar group has become the world’s leading distributor of electrical equipment for professionals. It employs 44,000 people in 2,400 branches in 40 countries. In 2022, the group achieved sales of over €32 billion.
