LBO/MBO/OBO - 2024
Business O², the French leading business network, welcomes minority partners to accelerate its development. Business O² and its managers were advised by Largillière Finance.
Founded in 2013 by Olivier Talbert in Valenciennes, Business O2 is one of France's leading business networks and prestige events, bringing together executives and managers from ETIs and SMEs across France. The network covers all business sectors and is organized into four brands:
Today, Business O² has almost 4,000 members in 50 Business Clubs and 45 Business Time Clubs, either directly owned or operated by a network of franchisees.
The Group regularly organizes lunches and/or dinners with guest speakers, including inspirational personalities such as Nicolas Sarkozy, François Hollande, Roselyne Bachelot, Claude Lelouch, François Xavier Demaison, Antoine De caunes, Michel Denisot, Thierry Marx, Marie Jo Perec, Patrick Pouyanné, Franck Riboud and footballer Michel Platini. To date, 2,000 lunches have been organized.
Business O² plans ambitious growth, in particular with the strong development of the Business Time network dedicated to the self-employed and very small businesses.
To finance and support its development projects, the Group has decided to welcome private investors and has mandated Largillière Finance. Several managers and private investors are taking minority stakes, backed by debt arranged by Crédit Agricole Nord de France.
In this new configuration, the Group reaffirms its growth objective: to become the undisputed leader of business networks in France by 2028, with a target of 80 Business Clubs and almost 600 Business Time Clubs.
Olivier Talbert – Founder of Business O²:
“This transaction is a key step in Business O²’s ambition to become the leading business network in France. The support of investors will enable us to accelerate our growth and pursue our development, notably with the opening of new clubs throughout France. We aim to be as close as possible to business leaders, offering them opportunities for exchange and ever higher quality interventions.
I would like to thank the Largillière Finance teams for their support throughout this operation. Their expertise and support were essential to the success of this operation”
Annick BERRIER Founder & CEO of a construction group:
“To finance its development projects, and advised by Largillière Finance, Business O² decided to welcome private investors, including myself. My commitment to Business O² is in line with my personal convictions. I’m very proud to support Olivier Talbert, and to be involved with him and his team in the deployment of the Business Club network. I’ve seen him move forward and grow, and I know today that I’m right to say YES to his development project, because you can’t live such an adventure alone”
Paul Bougnoux, Founder & CEO of Largillière Finance:
“What a pleasure to support an entrepreneur and be at his side to advise him as he builds his ambitious growth!”
With more than 40 employees, a strong international presence and nearly 30 operations in 2023, Largillière Finance confirms its leader position in small and midcap in France.
