Press release - 6 December 2023
Largillière Finance has advised Insured Services, a wholesale broker/manager specializing in real estate risks, on its acquisition by Groupe Alptis, France's second-largest wholesale broker.
Insured Services was founded in 2013 by Christophe Ladagnous to meet the need for simplified management of real estate insurance cover. To this end, it has developed a management software platform for its distribution networks, with particularly high-performance APIs*.
Based in Toulouse, the 25-strong team serves 1,600 brokers throughout France. It generates sales of €3 million, selling both individual and group products.
Founded in Lyon in 1976, Alptis became France's second-largest wholesale broker last year. Alptis is an independent, associative and entrepreneurial social protection group. Today, it comprises a group of companies** offering solutions that combine responsibility and solidarity in three main areas: prevention, insurance and financing. It serves individuals, the self-employed and businesses. Alptis has a distribution network of 10,600 partners, brokers and independent asset management advisors. The group currently protects more than 530,000 people and supports 16,500 businesses throughout France (mainland France and French overseas departments and territories).
For Insured Services, the opening up of its capital to Alptis will enable it to accelerate its growth, while benefiting from the strategic, commercial and technological support of a robust, long-term-oriented group.
The merger of these two entities is based on a shared ambition to better protect members and customers by meeting the challenges posed by the evolution of real estate risks. This new alliance will enable us to offer ever more robust insurance protection and prevention solutions.
For Alptis, with its expertise in supplementary health insurance, provident insurance, loan insurance and retirement savings, the aim is to provide its distribution networks and members with solutions and services that, as a multi-specialist group, are increasingly adapted to their needs.
Christophe Ladagnous, founder of Insured Services, emphasizes: “It is important for us to join forces with a solid, recognized Group, to enable us to structure our development in line with our growth trajectory. We would like to thank Largillière Finance teams for their support throughout the process."
Nicolas Ibanez, Partner at Largillière Finance concludes: “Insurance brokerage is a fast-moving sector, and one we know particularly well, having advised on nearly twenty transactions in recent years. We are delighted to have brought together two talented and complementary players, and are confident in their future success.”
